The other big advancement was in t.v. 80s music was the premier of music videos. 80s music showed the colorful appearance of the groups and the dancing that went hand in hand with the beats. 80s music inspired great choreography like the award-winning Thriller starring Michael Jackson. The costumes, lyrics and incredible dancing are well-known to almost everyone who ever turned on MTV. Videos gave a new platform to music by bringing it into the living rooms of everyone that had a t.v.
About 80s Music
80s music also introduced a number of artists that maintained popularity through to the next decade and in some cases beyond that. Michael Jackson changed and grew and stayed on top for years. Aerosmith stayed relevant for over 30 years despite drugs and rehab. Other artists made big names for themselves by pioneering 80s music and then staying with the same group or starting new groups that advertised their established reputations.
Most people enjoy 80s music. Even people who were not born until after the 80’s were over are huge fans of 80s music. 80s music started a revolution for music lover's everywhere.
